Chakra System in Male and Females
According to various spiritual based disciplines, the human body has seven chakras. The word ‘chakra’ is derived from the Sanskrit word, which means ‘wheel’. Its literal interpretation in Hindi means, ‘wheel of spinning energy’. Chakras are basically energy centres in the body through which positive or negative energy enters, and through which the same energy may be dissipated or given out. Chakras are the bridge that connects your spiritual consciousness to your physical body. The seven chakras in the cosmic anatomy are- the Base or Root Chakra, the Sacral or Navel Chakra, the Solar Plexus, the Heart, the Throat, the Third Eye or Brow Chakra and the Crown.
Chakra’s system functions differently in female and male bodies, as the energies they absorb and exude are worlds apart. But when they complement each other, or are combined, they can attain the highest level of consciousness there is, and is an all-powerful energy source. The direction in which the chakras rotate is also different in the two sexes making them unique to its gender. The chakra in a female body rotates anti-clockwise, and in the male body, clockwise. The female energy is comprised of electrons and the male energy of protons. This scientific explanation of a very spiritual practice breaks down the science of healing through the chakras and gives an idea of how the chakra system works to the uninitiated. The male and female chakra systems are the manifestation of Shiva and Shakti, their heaven-bound counterparts.
The working of the chakras in the female and male bodies, their elements and their energies can be better understood by knowing which chakra consists of which pole. Every chakra has a positive or negative pole, which defines its nature and functioning. Chakras that have the positive pole are in the giving mode, and chakras that have the negative pole are in receiving mode. These poles differ in each of the seven chakras in the female and male bodies.

To understand this better, read this instance. Often we may notice that women develop feelings and lots of emotions after making love with their partners. Due to the sexual intercourse, the male penetrates with his lingam i.e. his positive pole to yoni i.e. the negative pole of a female. Then after some time, the energy reaches the second chakra, which is the positive pole of a female. And that’s how, after lovemaking, deep emotions get activated in a woman’s body.
